The following are some scrapbook memories from late 1934.

Summit Beach Park in Akron was a happening place in the 1930s.
In August of 1934, we were there, on stage, playing for everyone's listening and dancing enjoyment.

Also in August, the Johnny Taylor Orchestra played for a dance at the Silver Lake Country Club.

Later in the year (1934), we played for the Friars' Club.
Notice the complimentary words they had to say.

Here is a telegram seeking reassurance that we will show up.
Of course we will!

Below are a few BARBERTON events. I played xylophone solos at the First Church of Christ on Harvard Avenue and at Portage Jr. High, and the orchestra played for the Barberton Rotary.

From Novebmer, 1934: The National Artist's Bureau in Cleveland wanted some help in promoting the band.

As the Christmas holiday season approached, we have a controversy over the appropriateness of dancing at a holiday party in Akron.

Next, a Christmas party for the Elks Club.

The year 1934 comes to a close, but not before the B&W Minstrel Show happens.
